About Us
Ropes Family and Community Outreach is a local civic and charitable organization which seeks to meet specific needs related to nutrition, culture and education, in Ropesville and the surrounding community. Our organization supports many projects within the community. We endeavor to provide a venue for entertainment and cultural events for the citizens of Ropesville, TX while establishing a positive image of Ropesville as a viable, friendly and diverse community in West Texas and the South Plains. All funds raised through RF&CO are returned to the community. We are a non-profit 501 (C) (3) organization.
Eight years ago we started as set of races as a fund raiser and an avenue to promote wellness and fitness to our community. We have attracted runners from as far away as central Colorado. 100 % of revenue generated is put back into our town and surrounding community.
This is our 4th year to offer the “62/82 Music Fest” right on Main Street in downtown Ropesville! We combine top name Texas Country artists with a state of the art stage, sound and lighting system for an evening of great music in a safe, family friendly environment.
